After two years
out of the spotlight Be A Player hockey cards
return in 2005/2006 better than ever.
Not
only do you get an autograph per pack but for
the first time every pack of 05/06 Upper Deck
Be A Player Signature Series will include double
(1:10 packs), triple (1:90) and quadruple signature
(1:180) cards.
Mr. Hockey Gordie Howe is featured in the Be
A Player autographs. Gordie is featured in the
single signatures as well as with Joe Thornton
in the Dual Signatures subset.
Be A Player Signature was last produced in
2002-03. In 2003-04, it was combined with In
The Game-Used into a new brand called In The
Game-Used Signature Series. Now that Upper Deck
has renewed its contract with the NHLPA BAP
is with the company that originally produced
it back in 1994/95.
Along with the autograph series, there is a
90-card base set featuring a new colourful design.
Regular Set Parallels include First Period (#’d
to 100), Second Period (#’d to 50), Third
Period (#’d to 10) and Overtime (#’d
to 1).
Being back under the Upper Deck banner could
make this one of the best and most popular Be
A Player releases in years. This is a great
set for collectors who love autographed cards.
